I like making beautiful things. Beautiful things that move and engage people in some way. With 20+ years as an award-winning art director, designer, and creative within the advertising and digital industry I’ve picked up a fair few skills – as a strategic thinker, creative problem solver, behavioral psychologist, graphic designer, visualizer, and typographer – to make that happen. 

Over the past 10+ years, I’ve led and nurtured Creative departments and teams in all manner of projects. From TVCs and Social campaigns, high-end websites, and digital products to physical product design. 

Empowering and mentoring designers, copywriters, and creatives is another passion of mine and something I have a skill for. 

Throughout all of this, I still believe in being ‘hands-on’ where needed and leading by example. I am a doer who creates and tries to inspire those around me and having fun in the process. 

Having worked both Agency and Client side, I have a wealth of experience and problem-solving abilities to keep projects moving and on track.

I love learning and sharing knowledge with anyone who’ll listen. I’m also endlessly fascinated by storytelling and how a single idea can be expressed across different media. I’m a firm believer in good ideas combined with solid strategic thinking; to me, that’s core to creating user experiences and products which are memorable, shareable, useful, and entertaining.

As Senior Creative within the in-house Paypal Creative Dept, I worked across the Paypal suite of products and brands to launch new hardware devices to market, create TVC and social campaigns and help to develop and grow the in-house Creative dept.

• Successful 360 Launch of Zettle Terminal payment Device to European, US and South American markets to become the best-selling POS device.

• Created an uplift in SMB customer’s engagement with Paypal products via Social campaigns and championing customers.

• Leading Shoots and extensive Post-Production experience for large campaigns.

Toca Boca - Stockholm, Sweden

I was brought in to launch a new game called Toca Hair Salon 4 and manage the new creative team. Conceptualizing and developing the strategy for the launch was the primary task whilst working alongside the Product and Game Art teams for a smooth launch.

• Successful launch campaign and ongoing creative strategy for Social and targeted ads

• Over 57 million active users after 2 weeks of launch

• Increased IG and YouTube followings and engagement

 

Tentsile
Creative Director / Brand Director

Tentsile is an outdoor camping innovation company designing and producing the world first and greatest Tree Tents. I was brought on board to help elevate the company and brand to it's next level as their Creative and Brand Director. 

In my time there I  generated PR and influencer connections (Ed Stafford, Russell Brand, and Matt Morgan) to promote authentic brand connections. We also launch new products globally and saw growth in sales, demand, and social engagement to help grow the Tentsile community.

After 20 months with the company, I had to move on due to relocating the Stockholm, Sweden.

Toaster (Google Creative Vendor)

Toaster is a creative vendor for Google where we create innovative and state-of-the-art creative work on campaigns, products and Google clients.

My primary role was Creative Lead on all the 'Google Hacks'. These Hacks are for Google clients where we have 10 hrs to concept and idea, UX, design, and prototype. The Hack team is small and agile allowing for fast ideation and development. Clients include Coke, Walls, Unilever and GM. 

Over 65% of the Hack events would then be developed into real-world products or campaigns 

Waste Creative

Waste is a London based Digital Creative agency that has high profile clients such as Supercell, Turner and specialist Gaming markets.

My responsibilities included managing the creative output of the agency, pitching for new business, mentoring the creative dept, client liaison and new business. During my time

there I won 6 pitches for HIVE, Turner (Cartoon Network) and Supercell and help to grow the Creative department. 

FCB Inferno

For a 4 month period I took a contract at FCB to work on a number of projects for MAS, BMW, SKY and ThisGirlCan. These project were a mixture of pitches and big web builds working along side a team of designers, UX and developers on Agile projects.

I was responsible for overseeing the complete digital output of the agency, building the digital capabilities and offerings, and increasing client reach on desired Social platforms.

Helping to support the 10+ Creative Teams in the department as well as Designers and Copywriters not only with Briefs but also Mentoring and career development.

• Won pitches for O2, Virgin Holidays, Mini and IKEA

• Won multiple awards for IKEA with the ‘Small Spaces’ campaign increasing store footfall and uplift in Social channels and conversation.
